"I was a bit comprehending spending a bit more than average for a bump chip and salate, but sacred moly. that was the best steak I ever had. offers, tasteful, cooked for perfection. I could rave, but you got the point. wagyu Rump....you like one. eat here!"

"Have got food from Capers a few times now and have taken many people with me after my first visit. Meals are huge and well priced for the size. Great view from the deck of the Endeavour river. If you're looking for a great start...to the day with the best coffee north of Cairns, hands down this is the place. This is the sort of place you'd expect to find booked out in the City"

"Love the history of this place (built in the goldrush.) And the first Thai restaurant we have found in our 3 weeks of travelling. Friendly greeting by Thai waitress. Interior had character, but was too warm. Neither cril6ing fans nor air con were running. When I asked if air con could be turned on, they turned on 2 of the ceiling fans only (which were not near the table we'd been given). We were the only patrons at the time. We ordered curry puffs as an entree, and 2 mains. The curry puffs were excellent value (5 for $7). But why not an even number in the serve to allow for equal sharing? The mains were generous, but flavour was a little lacking. Overall good value. Nice food. But could be better."
