What Lauryn Ebert likes about The Black Sheep Espresso Baa:
Coffee was great, serving Toby's Estate. I chose to have a Mocha in the GIANT BOWL SIZE (sorry felt it needed capitals to do it justice). This café is tucked away but surely not able to be missed. Just look for the black sheep out the front. This is a must try for anyone who is looking for good coffee around Coolangatta! Btw this place is open at 5am which is good for all the early risers! Bit dissapoint get, service slow. Presentation of food great, but quite costly for portion size. Seating not comfortable, wooden shabby chic style. Inside area very noisy. Menu changes so if you find a dish you really like don't expect it to stay on the menu. View all feedback.

While some may find the service slow and seating uncomfortable, others rave about the presentation of food and the great coffee served, with Toby's Estate being a popular choice. The menu changes frequently, so don't get too attached to a particular dish. The cafe is known for its giant bowl-sized Mocha and being open as early as 5am for those up with the sun. Burgers are a hit for lunch, and locals praise the full-bodied and aromatic coffee as well as the friendly atmosphere. Overall, this cozy cafe seems to be a hidden gem worth visiting for breakfast or lunch when exploring the area.
