Visited here today. I had the pumpkin and beetroot salad with heaps of walnuts and balsamic dressing, totally delicious. My niece from the UK had the 250g steak with salad and chips and she declared it 'great'. She had large lemonade and I had a beer, came to $36 roughly. Would visit again, quite busy around 1 pm. What User doesn't like about The Coolangatta Hotel:
We had trouble finding a table so decided to go outside....blurp...the stench of sewer was rank!!! We went back inside and told staff about the smell, we were told it is the sewer, it does that when it's cold. Perhaps that should have been the signal to go elsewhere. Steaks were ok but a little chewy and not medium as asked. Decided to get a sticky date for dessert...big mistake. Couldn't believe what was served up,... View all feedback.
