"The owner received me well, explained the menu to me, then the cook came to take my order and was really nice, gave me many advices. The service is perfect, they are so nice, they even gave me a book to learn Spanish. The food is great, they have many vegetarian options. Totally recommended."

"I'm sorry I have to make this assessment. we came for a late lunch only to find that 25% of the menu was not available. the waitress was not very helpful. we were a group of 5 and all meals were seperately 5 minutes apart. not so good if they want to eat together!"

"The food is amazing!!! I tried ceviche and a risotto with lomo saltado that was excellent. You cannot miss the suspiro limeño, which is a traditional dessert made with arequipe. The best suspiro I have ever had!"

"Of the hundreds of hostels I've stayed at all over the world, Ondas has to be one of my favorites. I often find it difficult to find a hostel that keeps a balance of both fun and chill. As a 26 y/o solo female traveler, I am typically looking for a hostel that is great for meeting people but isn't hosting beer pong tournaments and anything but clothes parties. Ondas was perfect because it had a social atmosphere without being a party hostel. Kit & Sam, super-chill, awesome owners, have created a community around Ondas, where they host events like language exchanges, trivia night, and digital nomad meetups. I really loved getting involved in the events they offered as well as enjoying the chilled-out, but upbeat energy of this place.In addition, this place is designed and decorated so thoughtfully with gorgeous little details like hand painted art on the walls and tires repurposed as planters and patio furniture. The rooftop is my favorite hangout spot in the hostel, with bohemian details and decoration that makes for the most perfect spot for morning coffee or reading a book. The main space of the hostel is on the second floor, with loungey couches and more cool hand painted artwork. The dorm style rooms are spacious and clean, and most guests respect the “quiet after 10pm” house rule. The first floor is the cafe which still has tire marks on the floor from when the space used to be a garage. I treated myself to coffee, french toast, and bagels throughout my stay, and it was all was very tasty. It really is the perfect place for digital nomads to get some work done and enjoy an excellent cup of Colombian coffee.They’ve repurposed the space into a cafe & hostel with so much character, and overall, it’s a super welcoming place. Couldn't recommend it higher to any chilled-out backpacker looking for a great vibe, a nice nights sleep, and friends from all over the world!"
