Had a fabulous lunch with a lovely group of friends. Had homemade Mushroom Soup and Ham, Cheese and Pickle Sandwich. It was so nice and tasted delicious. The chocolate brownie was to die for. What a lovely homely atmosphere and nothing is too much for Vicky and her team I'd definitely recommend a visit I will certainly be going back soon. read more.

"The Ratty Arms pub is a converted railway station building situated right on the main line, a short walk over the bridge from the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway station. We spent the morning on the narrow gauge railway and then crossed over the main railway line to the pub. The friendly staff gave us a very warm welcome and served us with a good lunch which we could eat while watching the mainline trains coming and going through the station. There's a good selection of real ales on offer from local breweries. We were told that the pub is owned by the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway so your purchases here help to fund the railway!"
