"Where do I begin? When you walk in, you?re immediately treated like family. The atmosphere is so friendly and relaxing that you feel right at home! The service is impeccable! The owner and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Now, the food is unbelievable! I?m Ukrainian, and my husband is American. We both couldn?t have been happier with the food! We ordered A LOT (beef tongue, Russian style herring, borscht, Turkish liver, manti, plov, lamb ribs kebab, buckwheat kasha with mushrooms, and Napoleon). Every dish was so spectacular that we had to come back for dinner the next day! Sadly, we live 4 hours away, but this will be our only go-to restaurant every time we?re in Dallas!"

"Passing through, the best sides try the onion rings. I loved the dip. The showing off platter with no pulled pork. The potato salad and Mac/cheese . I usually hate the sides. Will return. The waitress was amazing. My son ate all the bread pudding and banana pudding. "Just trying carmines for the first time, easy some of the best I had. crust? 10. sauce? 10. the best disc I had in a long time. but what my heart stole was how clean this place was. the dining room could be simple, but it is the cleanest 40-year-old restaurant I have ever seen. as a former fine dining chef I am surprised as this was the first time that I noticed the cleanliness. it was so good that it caught my attention. this place knows how to guide a restaurant to the right way and I will go back weekly"

"All of the vegetable plates are vegan. I recommend getting the vegetable combo plate, which gives you a bit of each of the vegetables. Vegetable sambosa appetizer is delicious. Nice, clean place decorated with Ethiopian cultural items. Menu had educational descriptions of traditional Ethiopian dining practices. Waiters were very patient and welcoming."
