it was very busy and very loud in the restaurant as there was a big party, so it was probably a little louder than usual. I enjoyed my salat, but I had not expected that crushed carrot on it, but strange for an Italian salad eating overall was worth very good service View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Doppio Zero Vera Pizza Napoletana E Pasta:
to be fair, my only experience was at the silvester and I know that this is a busy time. the table was so close to the next people my friend and I couldn't even have a real conversation. they had two different songs that were played at one point simultaneously. So it was very unpleasant. the server did not come to the table, it took the owner who offers us water after 20 minutes of sitting. we ordered everything righ... View all feedback.
Our waitress and waitress were very friendly and made sure we were well looked after. The food was delicious. Only complaint was that we were informed about 20 minutes after the order that an ingredient of 2 of the dishes we ordered was sold out. Not the waiter's fault. Kitchen staff must be more about such things and advise immediately. The substitution was very good. Kellner took a meal from our bill that was unexpected and really appreciated. It wouldn't stop us from going back.
Mediocre at best had to wait to be seated as the person taking the order of the only table in restaurant seemed to be the only one able to take us to a table even though there were other staff standing around in the bar area. After ordering our meal salad, appetizer and a pizza the salad and appetizer were served and the pizza came to the table 2 minutes afterwards. It was served by a person who appeared to be the manager and he was not concerned about the timing he just placed it on the table beside us since we were having the salad and appetizer and there was no room on our table. No acknowledgement that the timing was off or offer to come back with the pizza when appropriate. Needless to say, we felt pressured to eat the deep fried brussel sprouts in a hurry and we left the salad since the pizza was cooling off. One of the servers who walked by asked if the pizza was ours since she thought it was odd it was on an unoccupied table. Had the pizza, which was lukewarm and then the salad. Salad was disappointing Costco pesto sauce on the barely ripe tomato wedges surrounding the burrata and pieces of stawberry ?! waste of great burrata! Servers aside from the Manager were pleasant but not looking at returning as there are other good choices in the vicinity.
Pizza was not good. Pasta was mediocre Service and staff great !!!
Service was okay but we found the salads/wine/entrees expensive for portion size/quality compared to similar Italian restaurants in Coquitlam. $14 for a starter plate of Arugula is steep; no side salad option. We asked for bread with our pasta bit odd. TV was loud; wouldn't recommend if you prefer quiet dining.
Always great pizza. Peroni on tap! What more could you ask for?
