What Michael Johns doesn't like about Sushi Maki South Miami:
The sushi was good and pretty fresh. The rolls aren't the biggest and are just about normal size. The salmon nigiri was very good and fresh. The selection of rolls is limited which is why I only give this place 3 stars. I ordered the Coral Reef and Whole Foods Rolls. The Coral Reef was the winner out of the two. Love the fish tempura on top. Nice addition to the roll and I recommend it. View all feedback.

"Just average. Might come back to try other plates. Maybe because I just came back from Italy, the plates seemed to be just average. The ones I would recommend are the risotto of the day (with sea food), the Carpaccio Di ?Wagyu and the Ricotta cheesecheesecake with mixed berries (fresh and not overly sugary). If you like cocktails I would suggest the Elizabeth with Lychee &apple, Zyr Vodka, Aperol, roses, lemon juice. The place is nice and the service was fine. I would give it a second chance."

"Not your typical mall restaurant. The food here is exceptional. Been several times and have never been disappointed. Highlights for me: 1) Surf and Turf Roll It is unique and amazing! 2) Hotate Truffle Roll Awesome experience at the restaurant and tastes the same when delivered. Highly recommend!"
