Family Bagels Of Long Island

I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and was charged $3.69, but the credit card receipt showed $4.21. I inquired about the extra fee and was told by the staff and owner that they prefer to charge customers an additional fee for using a credit card instead of raising prices. Despite enjoying the bagel, I was not pleased with the credit card fee policy. The owner stated that this policy is posted on the entrance door, as shown in the attached picture. The food and service were good, but I will not be returning as long as this policy remains. Just a heads up for those planning to use a credit card, be prepared for an extra charge.

I was truly impressed by this restaurant. The food and service were excellent, a significant improvement from the previous owner. The bagels were fresh, with a chewy inside and crispy outside. My son tried the melted patty and absolutely loved it!

I haven't been to this restaurant since the pandemic started. The dining experience was incredibly disappointing. Everything I tried tasted awful, even the pickles were terrible. The soup was inedible, the bread was stale, and everything had a strange, old flavor. It seemed like everything had been sitting around for too long and nothing tasted fresh. The only redeeming quality was the service, which was decent.

Big thank you to Family Bagels of Long Island for including a salad bar on their menu. The selection of toppings like bacon, tomatoes, cucumbers, and more make for a delicious combination. I highly recommend anyone in the Parkland/Coral Springs area to visit and try out this restaurant.

I really enjoy visiting this restaurant - it's fast, friendly, and fun. Jenn at the front counter is the backbone of this place. She works diligently and ensures everything is running smoothly. If she's not there, things just aren't the same. I also love dining in - the owner is friendly and frequently checks on the customers in the dining room. I'll definitely be back on a weekly basis.
