"Stumbled across this fabulous find on Sunday afternoon. Love this scrummy tea shop. I recommend the delicious homemade scones and the coffee is real good too. A delightful setting with great hosts. Definitely going back as there are sooo many cakes to try out."

I asked the roots team if it was possible to make some changes for a private dining experience for a group of friends and they were very accommodating and helpful. "Went there today: cappuccino and Victoria sponge, absolutely delicious in a warm, cosy, comfortable, quirky cafe-shop of books, plants and more. Loved the ambience, catering and the friendly service. I crashed out on the window, leather sofa and could have stayed a week. Great value and simply delightful. Thank you."
