a must for dessert in korfu! we had the apple cake of the grandmother and the plump cake and they were amazing! fresh fruits, fluffy juicy, crusty parts. highly recommended. we also had the hearty cake super good. a sweet cake and a piece of cake are a full meal and under 10 euro. What User doesn't like about Starenio Bakery:
This place offers clearly labeled savoury vegan pies and sweet vegan cake slices. I tried three different pies (the potato-leek, the monastery and the mushroom one) and all were tasty and filling. They have good wifi but the WC didn 't work when I was there. The staff speak good English and the food is labelled in English as well. View all feedback.
Great place with many interesting vegan options. I tried the monestery pie and the one with quinoa and spinach and they were both delicious.
I was surprised by how good and affordable the pies were. There is some seating in a quiet and shaded alleyway in front of the shop.
Lots of vegan options but the vegan pie we chose was not good at all. The artichoke chickpea pie tasted like oranges, which was unexpected, and the flavors just didn’t taste good together.
Lots of vegan options, the pies are all amazing and the cakes are one of the best we ever had. The prices are very low for what it’s worth. Best spot in corfu we’ve been. Updated from previous review on 2023-07-21
We loved this bakery! It had incredible vegan options every day, there were multiple different pies and cakes and the fresh bread was also delicious. I highly recommend visiting if you're near!
