Whenever I'm in Cork, I always make sure to visit this pub. It is a charming family-owned establishment with a lovely cozy atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and the food and drinks are excellent. Additionally, the location right by the lough can't be beat! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hawthorn:
Visited the pub on a Sunday recently and was in the main bar. Heard shouting in the smaller bar and there was pool cues being swung around with two groups starting to fight. The 2 barmen tried to break it up and one nearly got hit with a cue. It took a while for it to calm down but it looked like it was going to spill into the main bar where there was kids and elderly people. One group was sent away and barred and th... View all feedback.
