Views, ambiance, and service receive positive comments, with special recognition for staff named Omer and Heather. The diverse menu and wine list are highlights, with some diners praising dishes like scallops and pork chop. Overall, the restaurant caters to different tastes and occasions, with some visitors finding it a great place for celebrations despite occasional service hiccups and food quality issues.
My husband treated me to a night out for my birthday, which included dinner and drinks in the Panorama Bistro. The decor is fabulous. The music was nice (although we had to ask to move tables as we were originally put directly beside the piano! . The staff, when engaging with us, were very pleasant, but the service overall wasn't as good as I expected. We asked for the drinks menu (as it was taken away after we ordered our first drink , the waiter gave it to us but then disappeared for about thr next 20-30 mins so by the time he came back to ask if we wanted another drink, we didn't! The food was overall disappointing, particularly for the high prices. I have no issue paying money for good food, we expected to but we also expected good food and unfortunately it was average at best. We both ordered the truffled mushrooms as we love truffle, not even a hint of truffle came through on the dish. I had the monkfish for main, no sauce at all, completely dry once the tiny bit of puree was given was gone. The dessert was equally as disappointing, unfortunately, lots of flavours together on the same plate that really shouldn't have been. Not great overall food-wise. We went to the Glasshouse for some drinks afterwards and that was lovely. Nice cocktails and attentive friendly service. We'll be back to the bar, but unfortunately, not the restaurant.
Great view, great ambiance , great food and great service Menu is big enough to tempt but small enough to make a choice. Wine list is similar. Cocktails are as you would want and not disappointing. We started with lovely scallops and then had an great Malbec to accompany a steak and a pork tomahawk. We shared a cheese board. Price wise as you would expect but the quality was on point.
Give it a miss. Overpriced! Premier Inn at Savoy prices. We went to eat in the restaurant, were shown to a table and then abandoned. No one came to take our order! After 20 mins we left. Bad service!!
I was recently booked in for a meal with friends at the Panorama, the food here was lovely although service wasn’t the quickest however the servers themselves were lovely and accommodating. After our meal, we headed down to the glasshouse for some cocktails as we’ve heard nothing but splendid reviews. The glasshouse was nothing short of exceptional. We were greeted by the lovely Heather who showed us to our table. Her service was absolutely flawless, she made us feel so welcome and had this fantastic positive energy throughout the night, even when dealing with other tables. Our cocktails were fabulous (I highly recommend the Tojo! , and the accompanying jazz music made for a beautiful evening. Heather came back over with our bill and although she had clearly been nonstop serving the floor all night, she did not seem worn out in the slightest and continued to be helpful and pleasant. As we were leaving, Heather and another girl (I think her name is Katie or Kate?? waved us goodbye. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my evening and will most certainly be back. Shoutout to Heather in the glasshouse, 11/10 service!
Located in Montenotte hotel. Beautiful view and stylish decor, well worth the visit even if not staying at the hotel (there is a bar and restaurant in the same space with indoor and outdoor terrace; free parking). I was a bit apprehensive about the food given mixed reviews, but it was delicious, especially the pork chop.
