We have been to the kingsley many times. We love the food and hotel and its why are are frequent repeat customers. Very surprised by the low reviews. Service and food quality is always better than anywhere we have ever been. Tonight we were served by Ellie and she was more than helpful friendly. We normally come with our young son. Had a rare couples night away but would highly recommend to both types of families read more.

In pleasant weather you can even eat in the outdoor area.

Whilst visiting family for the Christmas period my sister in law arranged for afternoon tea at the Kingsley. The food was average however the service was diabolical. Tea and coffee was served Luke warm and to finish off the day we ordered a bottle of wine, after 20 minutes a very rude member of staff simply slammed the bottle on the table without even opening. We stayed there last nite must say from when we arrived the staff were brilliant service was amazing food was outstanding and the outdoor hot tub was fab
