On two consecutive weekday mornings around the same time, I had two totally different experiences. One day: an incrediby long line for a full hour, the next: no line at all while we were there. One day: almost no choice, next: enough choices. Despite the experiences, pastry/coffee was fine, but nothing special...but they were open when nothing else was! View all feedback.
Coffee shop with a very good deal. We take two Coca-Cola and a few snacks. Very nice pie maker
Cafetería con un trato muy bueno. Tomamos dos Coca-Cola y algunos aperitivos. muy agradable panadero 10/10
The local come here for a Vermouth, good café and awesome fresh bread. I love to hike and climb. I love their homemade breads and their high value cookies which are not only whole grain but, healthy! Where else can you get a FRESH squeezed orange juice for less than 2 euros. Rosana and Joan are super nice. Angela is a dollface too. Travelers and expats all converge here pre and post Siurana and Montsant excursions. I just like being able to sit and be alone to work.
Been coming here regularly over the years when climbing in siurana. Nice coffee, nice treats and reasonably cheap. Wifi too. Nice place to chill.
I would recommend all walkers heading for a hike/walk/climb into the Montsant mountains to stop in the little village Cornudella de Montsant where you 'll find the Cafeteria Aimar on the main road, just opposite the local bar. Cafeteria Aimar offers freshly made pa amb tomacat sandwiches of your choice, mostly with Catalan/Spanish specialities such as cured ham, fuet saussage, or cheese. Ideal for walks really. Moreover, the Cafeteria offers all kinds of coffees and other drinks and also lots of bakery products, as the Cafeteria is part on the bakery with the same name Aimar . Stay away from their bread loafs, though. They look good but they 're terrible: They taste like styrofoam (I imagine) and turn into a brick after a day. Also worth mentioning: They have free wireless internet. And good, clean toilets. My special tip: check out the local wine cooperative (almost next door, opposite the playground) where you can get good Montsant wine for relatively low prices.
