Really enjoyed a special dinner here outside in their back courtyard. They have heat lamps but it was unseasonably warm for the end of September and they weren't needed. They were meticulous about cleaning between diners and staff wearing masks. The food quality was high and there was a high degree of attention. What Alma Lara doesn't like about Canterbury Brook Inn:
Food was good but for the price $28.50 for lamb, 25.50 for chicken cordon blue, more vegetables would have been nice. Bread slices were very thin perhaps spare a few more slices of tomatoes some chunks of cucumber in the house salad. The spaetzle was plain tasting I just don't think it was an appropriate side for the chicken. My husband also thought the breading on chicken cordon blue was kind of thick. View all feedback.
From the hardest to please, everything was 5 stars! These people know food and service. The service was perfect, the cook came out to check at any meal and the timing for each grob was at point. Food was amazing. Escargot was perfect and the outdoor terrace is amazing for al fresco filet. If I weren't 1000 miles away, we'd be there every weekend. Very recommended!!

Excellent. Food is always great so is service don't need to say anymore. We have been coming here for years and never er a bad experience.
My sister and my brother treated me here for birthday dinner. I had crabcake for an appetizer..sautéed shrimps with lentils n fresh vegetables and apple frits with ice...all was perfectly and absolutely deliciously cooked. The service was excellent and will definitely return and highly recommend.
We go there for the complete dinner special . Your soups are soooo good! I often want to bring a container and ask Them to fill it so that we have soup for lunch the next day. The choice of dinner is varied and I didn't have one I didn't like and didn't skip it to the proportions. We usually bring a dog bag home, so we have room for their delicious desserts. Can't say enough about the place except it's the only restaurant we request gift certificates for Christmas, birthdays, etc.
