While some diners were disappointed by bland and tasteless dishes, underwhelming portions, and slow service, others praised the flavorful and delicious food, friendly service, and value for money. The restaurant's specialty in southern Indian cuisine seemed to be a hit with many customers, who highly recommend it to others. Overall, Sunny Spice appears to have a loyal customer base, despite some negative experiences.
We were here a few years ago, so we thought we would try again. the staff was very pleasant and I must admit that eating was very good. I had a vindaloo who had demanded both heat and seasoned, my other half had a bark dish that she had also enjoyed very much. we also haf garlauch naans where we were pleasantly surprised to have correct garlic on it and not just to glue. just what they need to do is repair the windows that definate had a strong geese had inflated
A really interesting menu with a mix of traditional and unusual curry dishes. the food was very good and the service was friendly. there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant!
We tried sunny spice during the holiday in fowey. excellent service and really great eating. they are the most important in South India and they should stick to their home specialties according to our opinion. Tasted, fragrant, but not overwhelmingly spicy very balanced in the did.
We have visited fowey many times, but never again to try this very good Indian restaurant. so good, in that we went twice! the southern Indian is more interesting than the usual Indian restaurant and I was thrilled by my vegetarian dosa mine. very long dosa! my partner was also impressed by his meal. our second visit, who tried various dishes, was also pleasant.
Read the reviews and looked forward to eating here as a change from local fish and seafood. We were not disappointed. Took on the recommendations of the very friendly staff and ordered Chicken Mumtaaz andKing Prawn Biriani. Both dishes were full of flavour, rich and...beautifully balanced. Squid Chilli and mixed chicken kebab were also delicious starters washed down with pints of Cobra all at very reasonable prices. My only disappointment is that you are 5.5 hrs drive away from where we live !
