Yesterday, 13 of our family members found themselves in the globe without prior warning. they were very accommodating and moving tables so that we could all sit together for lunch (5 frying, 7 frying and a vegetarian lasagne). eating was incredible, delicious and piping hot. we then spent a pleasant afternoon sitting outside and drinking the excellent ales and more zider. there were live music on the terrace and dart... Very disappointed with our meal, my mussels had small pieces of shell throughout the dish which was really unpleasant, also i think they were frozen not fresh which is appalling considering where we are, my friend’s salad was not appealing and we felt like the staff couldn’t be bothered. Yesterday, 13 of our family members found themselves in the globe without prior warning. they were very accommodating and moving tables so that we could all sit together for lunch (5 frying, 7 frying and a vegetarian lasagne). eating was incredible, delicious and piping hot. we then spent a pleasant afternoon sitting outside and drinking the excellent ales and more zider. there were live music on the terrace and darts and pool table in the play for entertainment. all staff were very helpful and friendly and served us with smiles despite our endless drinks orders. fantastic facility if I could give more than five stars, I would. thank you.
The globe inn is a fabulous pub with beautiful owners and employees and who officially serve the best gammonei and chips in the whole cornwall! (but only by previous arrangement, for which we were very grateful today)! thanks young and do what you do so that you do it so well!
Best pub in town by far..... Excellent staff and welcoming, the beer the best around as well, by a mile...
