Lovely dinner, food was great. They have set menu starting from 29€ (entrée, plat, dessert). I recommend the lamb ribs and terrines de légumes et champignons View all feedback.
What Jürg Wüst doesn't like about Auberge du Vieux Vigneron:
The food was average, the service wasn't very attentive. The rule that you have to pay 100 euros in advance with the reservation is a bit strange and led to confusion (the staff didn't know about my payment). View all feedback.
32-euro menus with snails, goat salad (very good), chicken fillets and trumpets of streaks, then burnt cream and cut vinegar. some olives with aperio, efficient service and good cuisine, beautiful wine map
I was also recommended here by the owner of the weinberg where I stay. he described eating as classic and authentic for the region, served in contrast to the foods for tourists in many local restaurants. I started with a local wee, although the list was expansiw. as my first appetizer I ordered escargot, which were perfectly prepared. my second appetizer was a warm garnel salad with ham, which was also very pleasant. for the main course I had to get ris de veau, calfsweet, although I was tried by the many grill options. I am glad that I have done it; that was the best version of ris de veau that I had ever improved each by the sweet and home potatoes. dessert was profiteroles who were an excellent end of the meal.
Very good kitchen, good price/performance ratio. delicious winery. highly recommended. secret tip?
