"I dig The Black Monk Tavern for many reasons !! Mainly, they squeezed a foosball table in there....all too often, ownership will utilize every single square inch for pub tables and other types of entertainment in order to get maximum profits.......and so a foosball table is usually the first to get the axe.....making a killer tornado table somewhat of a rarity......well not at the Black Monk ownership is DTF down to foos)!.....hell the owners will even play a game with you !!..... Killer place that Black Monk !!"

"The food was good, although our party had to return half the steaks for not being cooked long enough. Our service was pretty lack luster as well. Our drinks were empty most of the time and empty plates stayed on our table most of the time, even though we stacked them neatly at the edge to be taken away. We'll still go back, but not to this particular one. Sorry guys, do better is all I can say."

"When I planned my trip to Chorpus Chrisit. I had one thing in mind. Visit the world's only 2 story Whataburger...and take the kids to he beach for the first time. We were very excited to visit the largest Whataburger in the world. Also the only one withan elevator. Even though it was raining we were determined to check it out. Really cool experience to see it first hand. Greatview of the bay. Would recommend for a delicious bite to eat for not a lot of money."

"The wine was great but the customer service was horrible. The menu wouldn't load on my phone, so I asked the waiter for a menu and he brought back only a brunch menu, and when we requested for the wine menu the waiter brought it to the table and said here.... I immediately felt like I was not wanted in the establishment for asking for a menu. After we ordered our first drink, we had to get the waiters attention every time we wanted another drink. They never came back and asked how we were doing. But the very worst part of the experience was when we were leaving my husband had already walked out and I was taking my last drink when the waiter came by the table and said have a nice day while I was getting up, I had a drink in my mouth so I didn't say anything but he immediately said I guess not in a very negative way, I turned and looked at him and walked out because it was so rude."
