I argued in my review that Piazza San Giacomo is a soothing open air living room in Udine. If that is true, Barbaro is the appropriate armchair in this living room. Situated on the corner of the far end, opposite the Chiesa San Giacomo, a large outdoor seating area is provided for with efficient service and a selection of white wine. Salute. View all feedback.

"The service is impeccable; we arrived along a number of other guests, we were attended without delay and politeness, despite the numerous people present in the premises. The table with the bottles of white and red wine, the stile of the surrounding environment, somehow a reminder of the Sunday's lunches at home. The service was very efficient: the lady serving us recited a list of delicatessens from my youth. Antipasti and first and second dishes timely arrived, I want to stress the timely, as all dishes were just out from the kitchen, very delicious and warm. Then the desserts, liquidize liquor, coffee and biscuits. The place is as perfect as perfection could be; unique and simple, full of good feelings and history. Finally, the day after I had some questions to the owner, Mr Valentin, I wrote him an email, he replied immediately with exhaustive information!"
