I can't believe this place is closing after five awesome years. We come to this place a lot, and the staff, beer, and food have always been great. I think it's a shame their landlord is pushing them out. They bring a lot of foot traffic to the area, so I am not sure what I'm missing here. Farewell barley forge, I'll miss you guys a lot!!! Barley Forge is now closed, and while they were the first big brewery in Costa Mesa, the hardcore craft beer scene in Orange County is mostly relieved to see them gone. While their intentions may have been good before opening the brewery, they had a long run of serving consistently low quality or infected beers and treating their staff poorly. They do get an extra star for serving decent food and having free popcorn. View all feedback.
