Great course, pleasant staff. Good condition, wonderful weather today. Play was lighter than usual so we got around in 3 hours and 20 minutes. Even got to play thru 2 groups. Wonderful day for golf on a course that is a pleasure to play. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Oaks Golf Course:
Overpriced to say the least. A terrible golfing experience. The course is well maintained but the layout is idiotic and unsafe you play out and back on top of and into other players for all 18 holes. The $30 carts have a governor that make them all but unusable. With the amount of cheaper, better, and more accessible courses all around, you’d have to be stupid to play here. I never, ever will again. Waste of $72. View all feedback.
Our experience was awesome today with The Oaks Golf Course. People were very nice and the course was very well kept. But most of all I had found out that I had lost my license out of my pocket once back home and when we contacted the course to see if maybe by chance it was there. They weren't sure if it was me but they did have someone that worked there said they lived in the same town and was going to drop it off for that person. Went to check the mail and sure enough it was mine. What a awesome person Bryan was to do such a great thing for someone! I hope he sees this and knows how much I appreciate it and I am thankful for such a great person working there!
Outstanding course and staff. We were on back nine when monsoon.hit.Oaks gave us 100% raincheck! How gracious!Best treatment ever!Marv
Beautiful Course, in very nice shape in 2020. I've driven by this course for years and finally decided to play with a group of friends today. Very pleased and will be back. The fairways are open well enough where I didn't lose many golf balls. But the greens are challenging, making for several three-puts where my second put ended up further away from the first put... I'll definitely playing again.Kicking myself for not buying the 4-rounds of golf for $100 cards from Costco, which they've been advertising for several years. My round today with cart was $70. They could use a second beverage cart on Saturdays.I like this course better than University Ridge, make the trip out, you'll be glad you did.
I've gotten this cure twice this year, and although there are bunkers, the curs was in decent form. the cars are at the top and very clean overall. The reason for 5 stars is however my experience with the staff behind the bar and also kim that I believe works the site / professional shop. the bar staff was always pleasant and very authentic. kim has given me an extraordinary talk and knowledge when I worked a hole sponsoring for an outing. it could be accepted by some that a solo woman needs to lead how to work a tent at a event, but kim took the time to conduct a conversation and learned that I myself golf and often work on courses. we then had great banter over golf and event days and I felt understood and that he appreciated my thinking for his cure and also with his wish. so often I come to curs and the cursionals suspect that I can't follow on a map to my hole or even explain how a cube event works. Unfortunately, this is the norm, but kim built a rapport with me against man-spanining, how the game of golf works or how I set up my tent. truly appreciated and I wish only other courses and their employees learned about the needs of their guests, instead of suspecting. Thank you.
Son takes some lessons here and we had a great experience here with the staff. I'm glad to get this summer in the course.
