"Busy on a Saturday morning. Service was great and friendly. Food came out fast they were very accommodating on dietary restrictions and, for a gluten free person, they had gluten-free turkey sausage for a meat option. They also had gluten-free toast and let me switch out the hash browns for fresh fruit. The other person had a ham and egg croissant that was gigantic, served with cheesy hash browns. Both were very good."

"Went here a week or so ago, right after their grand opening, and I must say they need to get their act together, did not have a great experience, The service was rather slow. It took the server forever to come back to the table to check on us I think everybody was a little, overwhelmed and shortstaffed .had the Caesar salad, and the dressing was basically tasteless not impressed whatsoever. I also had the pesto cavatappi. The pasta was very mushy. The flavor of the pesto was OK, but the texture made it unpleasant. My friend had the mushroom pizza in which the shallots or onions, totally dominated. so again, disappointing, hopefully in a couple of months they'll work out the bugs..any reviews here more than a month ago were for their previous location which was smaller and probably better staffed although I never went there. I watched the new place being built from the ground up for over 3 years and had high hopes for it being amazing If this is your first time to cottonwood I would pass on this place for now, However, on a positive note, the view is amazing. If you wanna go have a drink during the daytime and look out over the entire Verde Valley. This is the place."

"Nothing annoys me more than paying too much for food that is just so-so. I thought the vibe was cool, but I had to write down my order only to verbally place the order anyway. Wuh? The food...well the burger was raw, unseasoned meat and I usually wantmy $6 burger to at least be bigger than my child's hand. The service...the younger blond girl was really nice but everyoneelse seemed to have a bit of an attitude. Maybe just having a bad day, who knows. Anyway...the old classic look of the placeis just that...looks. Don't expect real diner eats"

"We smelled the smoker from down the block and followed our noses here. The staff are friendly, and the barbecue is fantastic. There are seven different barbecue sauces available from mild to spicy and they are all delicious. I had the jalapeño popperburger and garlic fries. The fries aren't too garlic heavy, so depending on your own preferences that could be good or bad. Mygf had the hot link sausage hoagie and it was loaded with grilled onions and a little bell pepper, but it was so flavorful.Onion rings on the side, they were crispy and tasty. Show up hungry because they have a large menu and you're sure to findsomething. Indoor and covered outdoor seating is available. If you sit outdoors, your clothes will smell like smoke from themeat smokers so be ready for that."
