"Nothing annoys me more than paying too much for food that is just so-so. I thought the vibe was cool, but I had to write down my order only to verbally place the order anyway. Wuh? The food...well the burger was raw, unseasoned meat and I usually wantmy $6 burger to at least be bigger than my child's hand. The service...the younger blond girl was really nice but everyoneelse seemed to have a bit of an attitude. Maybe just having a bad day, who knows. Anyway...the old classic look of the placeis just that...looks. Don't expect real diner eats"

"WOW!!! The dinner, ambiance and service was all so amazing, I wish I was spending more time in town so I could enjoy it all again! Our server, Faust, was awesome- he was so attentive and personable, you're lucky to be seated in his section. We started with the stuffed mushrooms and a bottle of The Velvet Devil merlot- oh my! The stuffed mushrooms were hands down the best I've ever had- stuffed with sausage and stuffing and topped with cheese and a drizzle of balsamic reduction. Our entrees were phenomenal- filet with a loaded baked potato and clam chowder and Alaskan king crab legs with the loaded baked potato and a salad. Damn, everything was so tasty. The clam chowder was perfect, plenty of meaty clams and potatoes, served with the classic New England oyster crackers. The loaded baked potatoes were cooked in butter, and every bite was tender and flavorful. The filet was a perfect medium rare, with garlic and herbs on top, while the crab legs were succulent and buttery. We were so full, but had to do it up right so we ordered the chocolate cake to-go. It was a perfect late night treat (the cake was moist and delicious without being overly rich, and they decorated the to-go box with chocolate drizzle and whipped cream- so sweet! . Hands down, this was the best meal we've had in a long time and I would absolutely return next time I venture to Cottonwood. Thank you Nic's!!!"

"We smelled the smoker from down the block and followed our noses here. The staff are friendly, and the barbecue is fantastic. There are seven different barbecue sauces available from mild to spicy and they are all delicious. I had the jalapeño popper burger and garlic fries. The fries aren't too garlic heavy, so depending on your own preferences that could be good or bad. My gf had the hot link sausage hoagie and it was loaded with grilled onions and a little bell pepper, but it was so flavorful. Onion rings on the side, they were crispy and tasty. Show up hungry because they have a large menu and you're sure to find something. Indoor and covered outdoor seating is available. If you sit outdoors, your clothes will smell like smoke from the meat smokers so be ready for that."

"Stunned on this place at accident and glad that we. it was a great experience. we sat right away, quite astonishing for a busy Sunday morning, many sitting opportunities inside and outside. the service was above the best exceptional. I saw at least 12 employees on the floor, they worked well together, had their system on site and place and it worked. I had the pumpkin pancakes, so fluffy and tasty, would definitely come back when I'm in the opposite!"

"This facility has a 4-plus-star rating on google maps, but I don't know how or why. the decoration is nothing to show or to flee, the stands close to the windows are ok, but eating. well. arranged a ribeye with green rice and vegetables, and it came to look good, but green rice should be spicy, that was anything but ribeye did not look like it was grilled because it had no grill marks; it was partly ok, but ended with 50% drop for the mülldose, hard, stringy, and many grumbs. to give it off from the pepper grinder, gave a piece of dirty paper on the sweet and nothing more. the sweet consisted of one or two thin slices of maybe four different vegetables, nothing worth eating. my female guests and partner in life ordered the salmon with a side of rice and specified the waitress that they do not like spicy or hot spicy food; she was sure what she ordered was not spicy. what has she got, hot spicy rice and a small piece of salmon with a spicy pineapple glaze. now this is a brewery with special beer that costs north of $8.00 per glass, and they offer wine. my partner does not drink a beer and wanted a local wein to just say that the whole wein was in California. with more than two dozen wineries in cottonwood we were able to discover the establishment that none of them served. so she went over the wee and I went on the beer, water is good. I had expected to be good over $100 for this romantic dinner for two, and open was very disappointed with the $70 cost of the two meals that should never have been served for each customer."
