We stopped today on our motorcycle travels. Needed gas and we stopped a local resident on where a good place to eat would be. He recommended Banks Lake Brew. We had a breakfast sandwich. It was a huge sandwich of ham, cheese and eggs on homemade bread. It was so good and so big. Also bought one of their homemade cinnamon rolls to eat later on. It was sooooo good. Very friendly staff. What Jerry Swayne doesn't like about The Banks Lake Brew Bistro:
Had the sausage breakfast wrap for 9.99, added tomato, avocado and salsa, was surprised at checkout that it was 49 cents for a few small pieces of tomato, 1.50 for a thin spread of mashed avocado and .25 for salsa that most places don't charge for. The staff needed instruction on how to make tea which was 2.39. In retrospect the add ons were not worth the fees. View all feedback.
Such a pleasant surprise! Such a sweet spot. Great food, atmosphere and service! Definitely get a milk shake or their lotus drinks! They have coconut milk if you need it!
Looks like a gas station, don't be fooled, it is a nice little cafe. I had the biscuit and sausage gravy. It was very good and they split the biscuits before adding the gravy like dad used to do, avoiding the now common travesty of putting gravy over an entire unsplit biscuit. The cinnamon roll is baked on site and was quite delicious. Good espresso drinks I had a half caf iced mocha. Counter service was quick and cheerful. In all, a great breakfast stop along our travels.
The staff is quick and friendly. The baked goods and doughnuts were fabulous. Did I mention they have one charging station with North Central Washington Plug-In. HiAmp 2 charger.
A highway 2 gem! If you are passing through or headed out to fish, stop here! Great coffee, incredible breakfast sandwich, and awesome staff. Don't pass this place by! Went back this spring, the breakfast sandwich is the best in the state!
Super friendly staff! Cinnamon bun was melt in your mouth fresh with cream cheese icing so not too sweet. Breakfast egg sandwich delish with avocado and great coffee!
