"Mother's Day Dinner. We came to Longhorn with extended family to celebrate Mother's day. I am sorry to say, that this is the first time I have come to Longhorn and came away disappointed. My husband and I ordered the flatiron steak. What came to us did not look like a flat iron steak and both of us got very small steaks. My husbands was actually smaller than mine. We mentioned it to the waitress and she had the manager come over. He did offer to give us different steaks and admitted(the waitress admitted as well)that they were small. "My wife and I were visiting Nebraska for a week. On our last night there we decided to treat ourselves to a nice final meal in the city. I will say this. The steaks are unbelievable... However, I would not venture into the appetizer section of the menu again. They were mediocre at best. We got the seared pork belly and the calamari for the appetizers and we were not impressed. For the price we paid, we were kind of hoping for mind blowing but got more of a meh response from the both of us. Our steaks however were a different story. I 'm going to ask a question... Have you ever eaten a steak that is so rich and fatty that four or five bites are enough for the entire meal? I hadn 't had that until we ate the steak at Fleming 's. My wife and I both were only able to eat a few bites before we were satisfied! So overall I 'd rate the appetizers a 3/10 Steaks are a definite 10/10 I 'd go back just for the steak."
