El Cortez from Country Club Hills Menu

What Diana Körner doesn't like about El Cortez:
A small but lively Mexican restaurant. It's not quite authentic, but more than Taco Bell or Chipotle. Some foods are better than others, but none of the foods are bad. The service was nice, but slow. We went during a Saturday lunch and there were only 3 tables taken and the server took a while to bring our food and bring our check, etc. There are also many drunken people who make things less pleasant. read more.

Anticipate the varied, fine Mexican cuisine, which is usually prepared with corn, beans and chilies (hot peppers), there are also delicious vegetarian meals in the menu. You have a party and want to enjoy the food at home? With the in-house catering service, that's no problem.

"Arrived to pick up our order on Friday and they did not have it ready. The man was very rude and claimed we never even placed the order. After a couple of minutes he actually found our order but instead of putting it down for Friday they put it down for Tuesday. Prior to that we had to even prove on our phone that we actually did call Highway bakery because he just would not believe us. So they wrote down the wrong date but refused to admit that they did. He said he would support his employee rather than the customer and said that we were not telling the truth. I am totally done with Highway bakery. We left there and went down to Pearson's who were wonderful and gave us just what we want it"

"I never give reviews I usually just take the L and move on but this time I felt like I had to make it known. I?m very verrrry disappointed in my meal tonight. I ordered fettuccine chicken Alfredo there was absolutely no flavor what so ever!! It was sobland where?s the spices?! Not even a drop of salt? I?m so bummed right now. However, I did experience nice customer service.The woman on the phone was cool."
