Just moved to the village. We did steak night on Friday absolutely amazing fabulous aged ribeye.

Absolutely fabulous food and service is very promt. Staff lovely and friendly. More than happy, will eat here everytime.

Great food fab service nice homely atmosphere, deffo recommended

Great food at a reasonable price. Staff very friendly and willing too get you a table if they are very busy.

Best thing about my daughter moving to Bishop Middleham is that I get to eat here. Food excellent and good value portions so good I've never managed...

"Had the pleasure to try stephenson's market plaice yesterday. we enjoyed it so much that we wanted to leave a review as soon as possible. they have the opportunity to take away or eat. we ate in the restaurant in the upper floor, which is beautifully decorated and very clean. the young man who served us was friendly and polite. our drinks and eating came fast and looked amazing. two of my party went for traditional cod chips, with me went for the 'whopper' size. there is a big difference, so if you want to get the big size, make sure you have a place! overall we couldn't rate this restaurant high enough. next time we're in the opposite, we'll return."

"Me and my boyfriend popped by this place after reading trip advisor reviews that are mostly really good, we were not disappointed, it was clean, the staff are very attentive and friendly. The only downfall was my first option was not available however what I did receive was very tasty, my partner was very satisfied and always notices good quality food which he did comment on. A lovely start to our day, service with a smile makes a difference, thank you."

"The best places always take a little finding well worth it though. Slow cooked brisket with home cooked chips and slaw.
