"Child, attentive service and the best quality sushi on the island. they have access to toro, red thun and uni for reasonable prices. the lunchboxes are very fillable and everything from salad to sushi to gyoza is well cooked. my family and I loved the restaurant and would return in a heartbeat."

"This is one of the the best restaurants we've visited in the last couple of years. Our selection includes Seared Scallops Pork Belly, Miriam's Vegetarian Cakes, and Chorizo Crusted Sablefish. We really like the use of squash and black bean purées. Theservice was excellent. We did not sit in the garden as it was a bit cold, but we had a view of the garden. If this was inVancouver, if would have been booked weeks in advance and I would visit regularly for the Miriam's Vegetarian Cakes."

"This place was highly rated for seafood and they did not disappoint. The menu offers an array of tapas, mains, and pastas. The wine list was an added bonus. We ordered a number of tapas to share and our favourite had to be the beet salad. One star deducted because there isn’t much ambience inside. Otherwise, it’s well worth the visit!"

"Good service and I enjoyed my Dynamite rolls however the beef udon my gf ordered seemed very Chinese as the beef was velveted like you’d find in beef chop suey. Not even close to Sushi Wara’s version which is amazing."
