We have used this Chinese for about 12 years even though we have never lived near Cheylesmore. We have lived in Henley Green, Tile Hill and now Allesley and always stayed loyal to Cheylesmore House, because it is good. last year it went through a bit of a bad spell, food was not up to the usual Standard, service was not as good as previous years, I believe it was because of the new system they introduced for home del... Just about Ok food, the best dish here is beef in black bean sauce. It's closer to home and the last resort for a take away. You need to give them at least 20 mins to get your food ready. View all feedback.

"Visited today with a friend. Had a latte and Crunchie cake. The latte is lovely, had it before when visiting and it’s hot, creamy and really good. The cake was nice, very soft, the icing had the Crunchie bits in and gave it flavour. It was enjoyable. The cafe is nice, love the little dog that wanders round, super cute but then I love dogs!!!!"

"We waited over 40 minutes for Sunday roast. 2 beef and I chicken meal. 2 small slices of beef on the standard meal, frozen roast potatoes, frozen veg, frozen Yorkshire pudding and what can only be described as packet mash that was horrendously dry. The worse part was the frozen chicken portion that resembled an anemic looking lump of jelly. The middle of the chicken was still frozen. The response from the staff was 'oh sorry, here 's your money back for the chicken dinner. As I refused for them to reheat this in the microwave and and bring it back. This place has gone downhill and we won 't be returning."
