Amazing place for a wonderful meal in the middle of the mountain. Really nice, well cooked, and tradicional Portuguese food. I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend and my mother and we had a really good meal. Totally advise to anyone that would like to enjoy a wonderful Portuguese food, in a very well decorated space, giving the feeling of being in a wood cabin in the middle of the mountain. read more.

In nice weather you can even eat in the outdoor area, and there is free WiFi. The premises on site are accessible, and therefore no problem for customers with wheelchairs or physical limitations.

What User doesn't like about Varanda da Estrela:
We followed the chef’s suggestion and ate Arroz de Zimbro. It was very tasty, typical Portuguese flavours/spices. We had a starter and presunto wasn’t great.
