"Lunch with my dear friend. Izzy was so sweet and helped with special dietary restrictions. We both had the fish. Delicious. I do not care what you order from Gallager’s everything on the menu is delicious. They by far have the most amazing staff. Outgoing and friendly. The hostess was super sweet and helpful. My friend has a broken foot and she was more then helpful getting her in and seated. We were so appreciated for all the help today making lunch special"

"First off if I could pick less stars I would. One of the waiters followed me outside to ban me from the restaurant because I did not tip due to the fact that my order was completely wrong on every level and I had to listen to his loud mouth talking abouthis plight as a muslim for the duration of my meal. My company and my dinner date's company frequents this poor excuse for anestablishment 3 to 4 days a week. That ended tonight!!! It is my opinion that anyone looking for a place to eat in Covingtonshould just go to taco bell before even considering this dumpster fire of a restaurant. Sincery, Stuart Bulldog Anderson"

"Great outside restaurant. The back has two large fish ponds that the kids loved to look at. I had French toast. It's different than normal bread French toast. It's made on French bread. "We stopped here for brunch on our scenic drive across the causeway from New Orleans. We?re so glad we did! The restaurant was super bright and cheerful and all the servers were great. I had the Bananas Foster Waffle with a side of bacon. My husband had a stack of regular Pancakes and a double order of Biscuits and Gravy. My waffle was amazing. It came out hot and the sauce was tasty and sweet. Highly recommend for those with a sweet tooth. The bacon was okay. It was softer than my personal preference, but the taste was pretty good anyway. The pancakes and B&G were both bigger than my husband was expecting. He said that they were probably up near the best pancakes he?s ever had. The server was amazing. He was just getting done saying to me that he wished he had more syrup, when the server showed up with more. The biscuits and gravy were very tasty too. He didn?t need to add any additional salt and pepper like he normally does. The one negative/disappointment was the orange juice. It was on the spendy side and just tasted like regular, run of the mill OJ. We expected a bit more for the price."

"Great breakfast spot! Their biscuits are truly fantastic, I read reviews about them being too dry or crumbling, but having been several times, I haven't found that to be the case (likely someone that just wants to be petty and/or has poor taste and doesn't know what a good southern-homemade biscuit is supposed to be). Everything we have ordered has been fantastic. Staff is nice and welcoming. Drinks were strong in true Louisiana fashion and delicious."
