loved the refurbishment which makes it look cleaner, more spacious and modern. Even on a cold winters night the ambience is lovely and on a sunny day the balcony would be great. THe food is excellent and varied. The service friendly and helpful. The winter lunchtime special of two courses and glass of wine for $25 is excellent value. The restaurant and its rooms are wheelchair accessible and thus usable with a wheelchair or physiological disabilities, Depending on the weather conditions, you can also sit outside and eat.

Very charming and attentive staff, however I don't think the food was anywhere worth the price. I chose the chicken of which the components were individually 'nice' but together just didn't seem to work with the gravy/sauce. First, they told us they would allow us to split our bill for four couples, but then said no. Service was very slow and food not very tasty. Do NOT recommend.

Date night with hubby in January on the epic storm nightHad front row balcony table with view over Westernport bay with storms brewing.
