"This place popped up when I was looking for chocolate shops around the Playa Del Carmen area, and I decided to check it out when I visited Cozumel. The first time I went I bought about 6 truffles. I tried the non-dairy cinnamon bun first and was amazed at how delicious it was! I've always been a huge fan of chocolates, and I have to say that this is some of the best chocolate I've ever had. Each truffle I had was absolutely delicious, and the flavors were unlike anything else I've tried. They were so good that the next day I took the ferry to Cozumel just to buy a box of 16 truffles. If you are ever in this area, you have to try the chocolates. You will not regret it!"

"I had a Frozen Watermelon Margarita and it was refreshing and yummy. I love cheese and I had a cheese chicharron which was amazing. Also I had the tacos with lettuce shell which I found healthier and delicious. We got Mariachis too. Some people don't like them, I don't get to listen to them in United States, and I am from Colombia. We are use to listen to Mariachis and I found it entertaining. In general the food was very good, I recommend it if you want to enjoy some tacos, stay in the area and not go too far away from the cruise zone."

"Our waiter was informed on the menu about gluten-free items and understood the risks of cross-contamination after a short conversation. I had the fillet mignon with vegetables and then a fruit and whipped cream dessert. It's a beautiful place and I'm glad to have a celiac safe option."

"We were recommended La Conchita as a great place to get ceviche by our taxi driver when returning back to el centro from the beach. We ordered a huge portion of shrimp ceviche (to go) as well as an order of the coconut and mango...shrimp. My husband said the coconut shrimp were the best he had eaten in his life! The ceviche also was very fresh and delicious. We also ordered two orders of guacamole and our entire order came with several bags of delicious tostadas (fresh corn tortilla chips) that were perfect for eating with the guac and the ceviche. We had plenty of food for the four of us to eat for dinner that night and we even had two bags of chips, half of the ceviche, and an entire order of guacamole to eat for lunch the next day. I think our entire order cost about $17 USD. A great value for authentic and delicious seafood on the island!"

"Very good food. My waiter was less familiar with gluten free but he was very attentive and checked with the chef extensively to make sure my food was cooked the right way. And initially without any help he offered suggestions of what he thought could be made GF, so he generally had it right Bottom line, this place is safe even if I had to do some extra talking to make sure. I’m celiac and sensitive and didn’t get sick. I would go back to this place"
