I have to say this was our second visit and the service was very good the young lady that served us was very pleasant and eager to please. The food that we had was really tasty and enjoyable and most welcome to us was the fact that there was no loud music in the background which meant that we could hear ourselves speaking. What Opal22 doesn't like about Chimes:
The restaurant has good service, atmosphere, and food. However, I was surprised to find that four slices of toast cost £6.00, which I felt was very expensive. Unfortunately, this price was not listed on their menu, so I was not aware of it until I was paying. It is not good customer service to hide pricing information like this. On my first visit to Chimes, I was greeted with a smile by a very pleasant and polite staff member. The food was of excellent quality and the service was exceptional. I would highly recommend Chimes to anyone looking for a great dining experience. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Delicious lunch! Was treated for my birthday and it didn’t disappoint. Cajun chicken sourdough toastie yummy and really enjoyed the side salad. Mums French toast with bacon,maple syrup and strawberries looked fantastic: she didn’t share… I will just have to try those next time. Really reasonable prices relaxed service. Well done guys! Will have to leave room for a caramel square next time!
After a bit of shopping I call in this wee gem for a coffee and something to eat. the service was not good, and the food was nice. well done they keep the good work. I will call soon
