"They overcharge here so be careful when looking at the bill. I ordered 4 meals which I estimate according to menu should have been around £55, I was shocked to see they charged me £96.As much as I enjoy Indian food I won't be back.So 1 coke, bottle of tap water, 2 Nan breads and poppadums cost £40 absolute robbery."

"I used to really like going here for lunch but the last two visits have really put me off. I went a week or two ago and ordered lasagne and chips but was told that they were fresh out of chips and ordered mash instead. This wasn’t a big deal but the food then took around 45 minutes to arrive. I was just thinking of cancelling the food and leaving. In fairness to the staff, they gave me a full refund without me having to ask so I appreciated this. I then decided to go for lunch here again yesterday and got a cheeseburger and chips. Later in the day I started to feel lethargic and sick with food poisoning. I didn’t eat anything else after my lunch in Thornbury’s so the food there was clearly not cooked right. The staff were also quite amateur on this occasion as they also forgot to bring down a tray bake that we ordered and paid for. Really used to like this place but after these last two visits, I can comfortably say that there are much, much better places to eat in Lisburn."

"Great atmosphere, not great food. We got the beef and bird (steak chicken) and the chicken Kiev. Both the chickens were rubbery over cooked and even though the steak looked medium rare, it was as tough and flavorless as a well done stake somehow.? Even the triple fried potatoes had no crisp. The Guinness was great and they had friendly waitresses with a happy atmosphere, shame the food was so dry, maybe it was a backup chef? Will say the dip that came with the beef and bird was great and made the dry meat edible."
