What MadMoose doesn't like about Craignair Inn And Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews:
I didn't stay at the inn; I had dinner in their restaurant, The Causeway. We had a reservation, but still waited 20 minutes, but there were empty tables that were never used while we were there we were the second to last seated/served for the night). Service was slow despite plenty of staff. Food was great in concept, but poor in execution thick gooey sauces, undercooked meat, items not blended properly, etc. The hig... View all feedback.
Very friendly and welcoming! 2 of us had a work event to attend to so we were only there from 6pm to 6am unfortunately! Food was great! Service was a bit on the slower side but not unreasonable for the quality! More time for Drinks. My room was very nice but the private bathroom was at the other end of the hall which was a bit of a challenge at 2am.... But the room and bathroom was very clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in! Scenery was nice.
My partner and I arrived without a reservation. In spite of everything, we were warmly welcomed and given a room with a superb view! The staff is lovely and really attentive. The place is great and located in a dead end so there's no traffic. Also: the blueberry pancakes are delicious!
If you're looking for a place to relax this is THE spot! I had a room with a private deck/bathroom and highly recommend!
Very cool location and the staff is welcoming and kind. The owner recommended some whiskey that was marvelous. The nature preserve is a fun walk and showcases some cool views. Food was delicious and unique. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a rural Maine inn.
I live close by, so I do not stay there. I am sure it is quality. The area is stunning. If you get a chance to enjoy the Prix fixe meals here, you will not be let down. Just off the charts for Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. Perfect ambiance, presentation, service and quality. A Do not hesitate date.
