A Little Bang for a Little Buck. I was looking for a good place to eat in Cranberry, but with so many restaurants and few of them being of high quality, it was a challenge. I decided to give Red Bowl a try after reading some reviews. However, the food was nothing special. The appetizers, pork egg roll and spring roll, were just okay. The spring roll was mostly cabbage and lacked flavor. The egg roll was disappointing. The Crispy Beef from the specials menu was tasty, but my boyfriend's combination special with Red Curry Shrimp and General Tso's was underwhelming. The curry was bland and the General Tso's was not spicy and too sweet. Overall, while I don't think anyone would have a terrible experience at Red Bowl, I personally do not feel compelled to return. The prices are low, but in my opinion, Chen's is a better option.
Red Bowl is a fantastic option for those who enjoy Asian or Thai cuisine. The crispy beef was particularly delicious, and all the dishes we saw being served looked amazing. The portions were generous, and the leftovers were just as tasty. This is a must-visit restaurant.
I highly recommend trying the General Tso Chicken at Red Bowl. I have been to this restaurant several times for lunch and have always been impressed. While I would love to explore the entire lunch menu, I always find myself gravitating towards the classic combo of Hot and Sour Soup, General Tso Chicken, Egg Roll, and Fried Rice. The Hot and Sour Soup is one of the best I have ever had. Overall, I can highly recommend Red Bowl for a delicious meal.
Do you love chinese and or thai food???if you do you will loooooove red bowl. Im the type of kid that absolutly loves Spicy food, but if you dont , it you can ask for it however you want. If u like shrimp and coconut milk I recommend the spicy thaired curry shrimp,it is to die for!!!!!It is also GLUTEN FREE!!!!!!!
We eat Asian food once a week and have tried many in the North of Pittsburgh. This one serves Thai and Chinese food and is our favorite one to go to. My wife has a gluten allergy and the chef will make her dish accordingly. We love the hot and sour soup which is made when you order. The red curry shrimp, shrimp rice noodle and shrimp fried rice are out of this world. Once you try it you will love it
