"I ate here both times when I visited Cranbrook, and I plan every time I go. They have a separate vegan menu with everything, from chips and dip, onion rings, to a spiced curry and falafel burger. Also daily soups in the house from scratch, are able to be veganized."

"I've been eating schnitzel since I was a kid, so I've got some experience. Frank's does a great job and channels the spirit of the great actual German/Austrian restaurants I've been in. The schnitzel itself is large, filling the plate, and while it was very good, a bit of fresh ground pepper prior to breading it would have been a home run for me. Nonetheless, it was one of the better presentations I've had in Canada. Spaetzle were stylised but tasty...there was barely a forkful of red cabbage included, sad because it was tasty as well. The veggies, were, well...veggies, can't go wrong there! The decor is upscale and service was pleasant and attentive, and when the (owner/mgr?) came out from behind the bar, she greeted each of the tables...very nice to see. We will be back.!"
