It was the end of a long day of travel and we were tired. Not particularly in a jolly mood, but after a few minutes with server Crissy, we were glad we came.We always appreciate the personal touch, including an explanation of a little girl's name tattooed on Mom's arm. The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and eat and drink in pleasant weather.

What User doesn't like about Joey's Restaurants:
Needed to have one more Joey's fix before we left Canada. Seemed a little more dinghy than the Joey's we ate at in Kamloops, but still decent food. Guess this will have to do me until I may get back to Canada someday as the chain has pulled out of the US. read more.

The place is a bit of a dump and decorated rather qischy, bur the food is very good and decent for the money. You have to try the Bangkok shrimp bowl.

Well, this place has cleaned up it's standards since my last visit a few years back where I had been ignored for my entire visit with my then boyfriend

"The food was delicious and they serve large portions. The only reason we didn’t give it five stars is they upped the price by $3 for each dish, relative to their posted menu, so for a family of four to eat it cost us $50. A small chicken donair was $16.50! In hindsight we’d have bought less food, so that would have helped, but the prices seems rather exorbitant."

"Family Thai serves sumptuous authentic Thai cuisine just as good as you 'd find in Thailand. Their Thai Gang Ped red curry with peas, bell peppers, bamboo shoots, and squash plus chicken was delicious. Also I 've tried the drunken noodles — savory and delectable— and the pad Thai with tamarind sauce — not my favourite, but not bad. Spring rolls come in plates of 4 with plum sauce and are fresh and tasty. The iced milk tea was fabulous. Excellent service too.Dietary restrictions: They were able to accomodate gluten free needs."
