"Hotshots cafe is my absolute favorite place in Cranbrook! I've been going there almost daily for the past several months and it's become like a second home to me.First of all, let me tell you about the staff. They are just the kindest and friendliest people you'll ever meet. Every time I walk in, I feel like I'm surrounded by warm hugs and welcoming smiles. And the owner, Sherry, who works in the kitchen she is just a ray of sunshine. She's so lovely and always has a smile on her face, making the atmosphere at Hotshots just that much brighter.The space itself is simply beautiful. It's tastefully decorated, with just the right amount of charm and coziness. Plus, the smells coming from the kitchen are heavenly. I just love the peaceful and calming vibe of Hotshots.And don't even get me started on the food. Sherry is an absolute wizard in the kitchen and I've never had anything from Hotshots that wasn't simply scrumptious. Whether I'm in the mood for something sweet or savory, they always have something on the menu that ticks all my boxes.In conclusion, Hotshots is more than just a cafe to me. It's a place where I can work, relax, and be surrounded by kindness and deliciousness. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and delicious spot in Cranbrook. "I've been eating schnitzel since I was a kid, so I've got some experience. Frank's does a great job and channels the spirit of the great actual German/Austrian restaurants I've been in. The schnitzel itself is large, filling the plate, and while it was very good, a bit of fresh ground pepper prior to breading it would have been a home run for me. Nonetheless, it was one of the better presentations I've had in Canada. Spaetzle were stylised but tasty...there was barely a forkful of red cabbage included, sad because it was tasty as well. The veggies, were, well...veggies, can't go wrong there! The decor is upscale and service was pleasant and attentive, and when the (owner/mgr?) came out from behind the bar, she greeted each of the tables...very nice to see. We will be back.!"
