We called in here after walking Pen y Ghent. We received a really warm welcome and a lovely natter with the owners. We ordered 2 mug of teas and 2 scones with jam and cream. It’s the best we’ve had whilst visiting Yorkshire. Would highly recommend as cakes and drinks reasonably priced and yummy too View all feedback.

We called off on our way home from a walking week end camping, found the cafe easy has access car parking and very friendly welcome

"We brought family to eat here, including my son's Nepalese parents-in-law who speak no English, and the whole experience was very good. The antipesto and two following courses were all excellent (we even tasted each other's dishes! -the memorable comment from Kal, my daughter-in-law, was that the mussels and prawns were the best-cooked that she has eaten in her life! "I recently did the Yorkshire 3 peak challenge with a group of group of nine friends, we booked rooms for the night, dinner and breakfast and could not have been happier with the service we received, we were greeted on arrival by very pleasant staff that were more than welcoming, taken to our rooms that were really cozy, clean and the beds were so comfy I had the best nights sleep, all the staff were amazing me and all my friends were really over the moon with everything this hotel provided, the food was absolutely amazing really tasty well cooked hearty food, just what we needed after a long day walking, I will definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a nice break away stay with some lovely food and great service, I will definitely be back, thanks again guys"

"The pub is fantastic. We had Sunday lunch again and it’s the best Sunday lunch I’ve ever had. The staff are so welcoming and service second to none. A fantastic place to eat and stay, beer is pretty good too!"
