The mushroom risotta and the venison dinners were good, but I wish the venison had been more tender. Very nice red wine/chocolate sauce with it. Good wine list and service. Nice ambience and roaring fireplace. Parking on street. View all feedback.

We walked to Kettlewell from Buckden and felt that we deserved a nice lunch and a drink. Stopped at the Blue Bell and sat outside in the sun. Great location! We ordered 2 x double gins and tonic, a glass of white wine and a pint of bitter. The lovely barman warned us that it was going to be costly but wasn't expecting £43.00!
