What Andrea Stott doesn't like about The Punch Bowl:
Very good service and polite/efficient staff but food was average. Mackeral pate as starter was probably the best as scampi and lasagne seemed a bit tasteless. I suppose when you see mushroom risotto as the only vegetarian dish on the main menu it tells you something. Had great time great meal and drink. Very friendly staff. A few of us went there and tried a few dishes and they were all fantastic especially the fish pie. The staff told us about the area and suggested were to go. They recommended really good places.
