one of the best local around, tastefully renovated during the lockdown. now a pulsating pub with great value for money! Eat served Thursdays to Sundays also well. large beer garden also, staff and rental very pleasant. pub and beer garden always clean, also dog friendly. the hotel is 20 metres from the train station. What Rob M doesn't like about The Railway:
Been here a few times now on holiday and it’s not a bad pub at all, however we came in on a Friday night for food and were told they’d shut the kitchen. It was only about 7pm and they advertise food till 8. A bit disappointed as there’s nowhere else to eat in the village so we went back for scrambledegg on toast ! Apart from that not bad, very quiet though for a Friday night. View all feedback.
