Wilder’s Café is a great, quaint restaurant filled with plenty of options for whatever you are feeling! I’ve gone several times to jumpstart my morning and was shocked to find out the coffee and bacon are from around the area! My omelette was delicious along with the breakfast potatoes. I also enjoyed a unique sandwich, called The Pacer, which has fruit and peanut butter. There are many options on the menu, so I enjoyed reading through them all. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys supporting local business and enjoys a good bite to eat. Tables and area is clean and food is a good price.
Great food friendly staff. The ultimate in small town dining. Don't waste your time at McDonald's go here to get some home cooking
Heard so many good things about this place but was disappointed. I had bacon and eggs. The bacon was an odd smoked flavor and was not very well cooked. It was also very tough. The eggs were just marginal. The bread and the butter was from an institutional food service truck. The servers were OK but not super friendly. The restaurant was letting a local association have a meeting inside the restaurant and they were basically hogging all of the chairs. The speaker was very loud and was talking over all of the other diners. My suggestion is if an association or group wants to take over the entire restaurant, then close it to the public. The association leader was not letting other patrons sit in certain seats and It created a very tense environment for those patrons who were not part of her group. This could be a great place, but they have quite a bit of work to do to get there.
