"I called here for lunch with my mother. what a great place! decor is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and welcoming and the eating is absolutely delicious and very cheap. very good menu selection. only a thought- my mother (she is 92) would always go for suppe as a midday selection, so it would be nice to see on the menu. we will definitely come back!"

"The best food in Hale. This is the second time I have visited Riva and I was just as impressed the second time, if not more impressed! We went last night (Thursday evening) and they had a singer on who was unbelievable! The food was amazing, our party opted for the snack board to start followed by beef Wellington, steak pie, fish and chips and the fillet steak and everyone said the food was 10/10. We were served by a lovely gentlemen who I assume was the owner.. whose service was incredible. If you want something different from the many Italians or Indians in Hale and want some real quality food, go to Riva!!"

"The staff are so friendly and welcoming as soon as you come in. Service was attentive and quick, one of the best iced lattes I’ve ever had and I’m very fussy. Food was great myself and my husband both had eggs Benedict but he had Ham and I had salmon, poached eggs cooked to perfection, good amount of Hollandaise sauce and the salmon/ham/Parma ham were all locally sourced and very tasty. There are a good amount of choices for breakfast too so you won’t be stuck. We liked it so much we went back the next morning for breakfast again!"
