"Dined here a couple of evenings while resident in the hotel. Service outstanding. Although the menu is limited we thoroughly enjoyed our choice and 3 course meals each evening. Particularly liked how as a couple you are not seated too close to other diners."

"Friendly and welcoming service. Food excellently cooked and presented, maybe a bit more mash with the venison, to soak up the delicious sauce. Desserts well what can i say, yes tasty, yes plenty, yes yes, i enjoyed the dessert if that didn't come across."

"We've had an excellent DBB night on route to see the grandchildre. Room was comfortable. Dinner was delicious served by attentive staff. Breakfast was substantial catering for all diners. Overall the hospitality was second to none, we would definitely recommend and visit again for a longer stay."

"Before we were very excited about our visit. I have to say we were underwhelmed. the fish dish I had was nice together with the suppe and homemade broth, but the bark bourneon did not taste like a bark meat bourgeon it tasted fat from a terrible coating in its mouth. I couldn't taste red wine at all. in a round just a cheaper cut of bark meat cooked slowly with a fat heavy with a blob maische and 2 pieces brokkoli. a generous part seems expensive when all extras including brokkoli were just shy of £4"
