"In rural idyll past old avenues northeast of Schwerin you will find (hopefully after Basthorst a part of the municipality of Crivitz with a beautiful house-like estate to the castle Basthorst. On the lovingly renovated area next to the magnificently furnished main house with original stylish, luxuriant rooms and salons and old annexes, a restaurant complex with hotel extension was rebuilt in which we were a guest. Behind this is an investor group, please do not confuse with the estate of Baron Ruffin in the Lauenburgian! I can say beforehand that I have the experience of my pre-assessors with regard to Cuisine and service not shared we were lovingly served and cooked by a young team. Our three-course menu as part of a package should have been located by earned 30 40, €. Careful and freshly juvenile internationally in doing so well trained and gastronomically. The food Fluffig crispy bread in front, with lard and herbal cucumber. Then as an amuse a spoon creamy round goat cheese with balsamico and herb salad peppery and delicious. The wine selection (Fl. 25, € 2013 Birchmore Shiraz Cabernet South Australia deep red violet and a bit heavy for food; the Chardonnay from the same estate and vintage, on the other hand, as a white alternative, is much more tolerable and sweet without too much sweetness. A small but fine antipasti variation as an appetizer offered a well-luged and harmonious cross-section of Italian vegetables on fine-marinated field salad. Attraction was the deep pink, delicate and light bloody spicy cattle back with light herbal crust. Absolutely smooth, plentiful and harmonious on fine champignon onion vegetables and a successful gratin. Perfect meat despite lush disc thickness great! A good dice homemade Tiramisu creamy solid cool, delicate and harmonious with fresh cocoa notes a sweetheart, pleasant pleasure. Despite neighboring dinner buffet of a group quiet, harmoniously organized and elegantly relaxing also suitable for couples. The ambience of beautiful estate; refurbished new restaurant with high quality equipment and decoration. Cleanliness Also in the autumnal outdoor areas tried well-maintained, piesauber atmosphere."
